Sonam introduces us to the Red Panda who is facing extinction because of habitat loss, the illegal pet trade and poaching.  Since 2007 The Red Panda Network has been protecting the forests of Nepal to ensure the survival of the only living member of its own taxonomic family. Our planet has lost half of its wild red pandas in just the last 20 years.
